  • Made the final of the Kate Shepard Cup 
  • Played in the National League

Essential requirements

  • Min NZF B License (or overseas equivalent) (happy to assist in obtaining this for C License coaches who may be interested in applying)
  • Ability to work within a team and also a self-motivator.
  • Well organised and a good communicator

FIRST TEAM COACH - SENIOR WOMEN

North Shore United, New Zealand’s oldest football club, seeks an exceptional Women’s First Team Coach. This is an exciting opportunity to join a club keen to grow female football, from our junior through to senior grades and coaching team.

The Club has a strong policy of internal player development which we envisage will be reinforced by the recruitment of players with Senior experience.

THE ROLE

In 2022 we re-established our Women’s First and Reserves teams and we are keen to build on that foundation by fostering talent and attracting new players.

We are looking for a motivated coach that is passionate about growing female players and developing a competitive squad with a positive coaching environment. You will be responsible for recruiting, creating and coaching a successful Women's Senior Team, as well as working with the Football Development Manager to create a pathway from junior girls through to senior grades. You will be surrounded by a small group of support personnel who will work with you to achieve success. Any initial contract will be for a one year period although for the right applicant there would bean opportunity to negotiate an extension by mutual agreement.

Fencibles United FC is inviting expressions of interest to appoint a new Head Coach for our Women's 1st team. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing club that values its people and has great facilities all backed by a DOF and Board who want to progress women’s, junior and youth girls football in East Auckland.

2022 has been a very exciting year for the club – 

  • We have been granted our Girls TDP accreditation. 
  • We re-established our Women’s 1st team and they played in the Championship league finishing 5th.
  • Our girls prem teams featured highly in the U14 and U16 girls premier leagues.

There is also opportunity to do additional coaching within our Prem Girls youth teams for the ideal applicant – we are flexible in our approach to coaching and we can adjust a timetable that suits the right candidate. 

Essential –

  • Min NZF C License (or overseas equivalent) (happy to assist in finishing off the practical if required)
  • Ability to work within a team and also a self motivator.

U23 head coach

Waitemata FC is seeking expressions of interest for the U23 head coach role in 2023. 

The team will be competing in the NRFL Conference North U23 competition. The U23 coach will work closely with the first team to develop an environment with a great culture, that is competitive, challenging and an enjoyable. 

The ideal candidate will have or be working towards their NZF C-license, be organised, reliable and enthusiastic. The U23 coach role provides a great platform to learn and develop as a coach. Waitemata FC will support personal coach development opportunities.

LOTTO NRFL U23 Head Coach

Metro FC are seeking a dynamic and motivated Head Coach for our LOTTO NRFL U23 Team in 2023.

The coach will work closely with the First Team coaching staff and Metro FC/ACFC Sporting Director, Kris Bright to help develop the pathway between U23 and First Team football whilst creating a positive team culture and engaging environment.

This is a great opportunity to work within an environment supported by qualified and experienced coaches.

The successful candidate must hold a NZF C Licence, and be enthusiastic for the role. Metro FC encourages and supports coach development, and will support any further education opportunities within the NZF coaching pathway.

Women’s first team coach

Our Women’s team are competing in the championship league and are looking for a coach for the 2023 season and beyond.  

Reporting to the committee through the chair you will be responsible for coaching and managing a successful team whilst working closely with the committee and director of football to create a pathway from junior girls football through to our first women’s team. Our short-term goals include creating a development / reserves team to support the first team whilst continuing to aim for further promotions at first team level. 

The team has a good mixture of senior and youth/development players, with 5 of our youth players transitioning to first team football during the 2022 season. We are looking for a motivated coach that is passionate about Women’s football and is committed to building on this strong foundation, continuing to foster development and attract new players to create a competitive squad.  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Player management including commitment of existing players and recruitment of new players
  •  Assisting the committee with the goal of creating a reserves / development team
  • Creating a positive environment whilst driving high standards for players. 

We require you to hold or be working towards a minimum accreditation of an OFC / NZF C Licence or the international equivalent and have the right to work in New Zealand.
