Birkenhead College

Birkenhead College are looking for a good coach for their girls first XI soccer team for the 2013 secondary schools competition. The successful applicant will be available for 2 training session and on match day.

Matches are played on Wednesday after school (3;45). This is a voluntary position, how ever the school will help out with fuel costs for the successful applicant. Enquiries for the vacancy should be sent to zta@birkenhead.school.nz

Assistant Coach - Premier Division

Solid coaching background with sound tactical and team dynamic’s knowledge coupled with technical experience. Must possess knowledge of football conditioning, as well a high level of organisation skills to supplement their coaching ability. Must be capable of stepping into the Head Coaching role, if necessary.

The Assistant Coach will also be required to assist and support other senior and youth teams

Goal Keeping Coach - Premier Division and Youth Divisions

Experienced coach required to build and develop the skills, confidence and performance of all Goalkeepers   

Coach - Youth U19 Metro Division

Experience working with Youth players - Sound understanding of player development - Level 2 (or working towards it) Passion, dedication, integrity and highly developed people skills are equally important as are your experience and qualifications

Glenfield Rovers

Glenfield Rovers AFC are seeking expressions of interest in youth and senior coaching roles in our club environment.

GRAFC are seeking coaches that are enthusiastic, can build a positive team culture, aware of contemporary coaching issues and are motivated to instil confidence into our junior athletes as well as personal development. The teams to be considered are:

-U15 boys

-U17 boys

-U19 boys

-Junior girls Development (12- 16)


The club is also seeking an adaptable, confident and skilled coach to fill the role as Senior Men’s Reserve Coach. This role will work closely with Men’s Premier Division 1 and U19 coaches to provide a direct pathway into first team football for the future. The coach will be knowledgeable in team dynamics and have a high level of organisation skills to supplement their coaching ability.
